Eight years in tech, across roles that rarely live in the same person. Hubert came up through the Apple Developer Academy and was a WWDC19 scholar — an honor Apple extends to a few hundred developers globally each year. He was on the engineering team that helped Kopi Kenangan scale in its early years, served as Technical Delivery Manager at Sureswift Capital, and has stepped in as fractional CTO for two early-stage startups.
He founded MMS because dev shops come and go without ever solving the same problem: the translation layer. Non-technical founders can't write specs the way engineers need them; engineering teams ship what the spec says, not what the business needed. Projects land off-spec, off-budget, and off the rails — and clients stop trusting the industry that was supposed to help them. MMS is built to close that gap — an engineering firm that speaks product, engineering, business, and executive with equal fluency, where the person writing your architecture doc also sits across from your CEO.
Today, Hubert leads architecture, reviews every engagement's technical direction, and stays the single point of accountability between MMS and the client. He doesn't ship production code daily anymore — he makes sure what ships is correct, on-time, and worth the invoice.
